First Throwing Session

Since I’m up watching the Hawaii basketball game, I figured I would post about my first throwing session on Sunday.

My arm felt extremely tight, but my left knee felt surprisingly good and I have no pain today.  My knee has been feeling very good lately, so good that I’ve been jogging around everywhere I go.  I think I’m ready to resume my agility drills.

If the weather cooperates, I think I’ll go outside tomorrow and hit that up!

  1. Great account of your experiences. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I hope my blog can be of some help to you. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

  3. Hi. You never finished the story regarding whether you regained 100% agility. I might be going in for ACL replacement surgery and am very curious as to how it all turned out. I’m in Montreal, Canada.

    Thanks.

  4. Also, can you describe specifically how your hamstring muscles are doing? (Aside from relating anything about the ACL and the general knee itself, of course….)

  5. I’m not sure where I’m at with my agility, I just got to the point where I was going to cut loose a little bit, but then I had to take the past couple of weeks off due to my nose cauterization.

My hamstring muscles are still very weak and tight compared to before the surgery. I’ve been lifting weights, trying to strengthen the muscles, and stretching.

    How’d you hurt your knee?

  6. I was wondering whether you were able to run — actual long distances, that is.

I’ll tell you all about my injury — but later! Right now, I need to go to sleep. OS appointment tomorrow; we will discuss the possibilities. Damn, I hate this.

Can you reply to the email address listed? I hadn’t remembered to come back to this blog. Thanks!
