The strength isn't quite there yet, but the range of motion is pretty much back to normal. My checkup went really well and I'm excited about the next stage of my rehab.

Good luck at your next appointment and congrats on getting more PT!

You are doing great! My HMO told me my time was up on the PT coverage, but I filed a grievence and included a letter from my surgeon indicating that lack of physical therapy to make sure the knee regains mobility without adhesions forming could result in an additional surgery to break down the adhesions. You bet the insurance company chose to provide me with another 30 days of PT rather than pay for more surgery (smile). So I am good nearly through the end of the year.

I still cannot do a full squat, or kneel down, or run. Just this week the PT has started me doing 6 minutes of easy jogging on the treadmill. Weird the first day - the leg felt very heavy and "dead." The area where they sewed the meniscus is sore again, so I am hoping that is healing up and not going to need more surgery. I will find out at the next appointment with my surgeon just before Christmas.

I hope your followup is a good one! Sounds like you have done a great job of re-building the strength in that leg.
