First Unsupervised “Leg Day”

I had my first unsupervised workout on Wednesday. I’ve been jogging to and from the gym to try to get back to normal running, but my right knee has been getting progressively more sore for about a week so I had to stop doing that.
I wanted to dip my toe in the water so to speak so I had a light first “Leg Day.” I just put about 180 lbs on the Leg Press for 3 sets of 10 reps. I followed that up with 135 lb Deadlifts for 3 sets of 10 reps. I finished with 3 sets of 10 reps of Seated Calf Raises of 45 lbs. I felt pretty good after the workout, but my hamstrings have been tender the past couple days!
Like I said earlier the jogging has made my right knee sore. I thought I was at a point where I would turn the corner and get back to normal running, but it has gone the other way. Hopefully after a few days of resting I’ll be back to normal and able to resume the jogging again.
As far as my workout goes, it went as well as I expected. I’m going to take it easy and add the weight back slowly. Hopefully once my right knee returns to normal I’ll be able to add some plyometrics to my routine.
