Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups: Week 7

Sorry for the lateness this week.  Let’s get it going.  Here’s the teams on Bye: Arizona, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Philadelphia.

QB: I’m sure you’ve heard that Tony Romo is out for 4 weeks right?  If not, go pickup Brad Johnson.  At the very least you’ll hurt the team with Romo.

Matt Cassell may be a decent bye-week fill in this week, he’s got the Broncos.

RB: Speaking of the Patriots, Sammy Morris is the guy there and should get a TD this week.  If Joseph Addai is hurt for an extended period of time, Dominic Rhodes will benefit.  Remember he was fantasy relevant back in 2001.

WR: Joey Galloway should play this week, against his former team, the lowly Seahawks no less.  I’d gamble on a decent week.  If Kevin Curtis is still on your Wire, you got one week left to pick him up.

TE:  Heath Miller is good insurance for you Kellen Winslow owners.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.  If you’ve only got 1 or 2 wins.  It’s time to gamble big.  Make a trade or pickup some big risk players.
